About the Mpls Photo Center
Mpls Photo Center is an inclusive, member-based community dedicated to providing educational opportunities, comprehensive studio facilities and inviting social spaces for photographers of all ages and skill levels to meet, socialize, learn, grow, create and exhibit their work together.
Mpls Photo Center was created and exists to foster community and enrichment opportunities among local and regional photography enthusiasts, including both amateur and professional photographers. We provide dedicated spaces to our members for use in their individual photographic pursuits, as well as in our shared desire to preserve, reinvigorate and enjoy traditional forms of photography while embracing technologies of the future in support of creativity and lifelong learning. Mpls Photo Center members meet, socialize, and share work seven days a week in our many studio spaces, labs, and our Member Lounge. This real-world contact creates a real and powerful sense of community among members.
All members are encouraged to submit exhibit proposals, from one, two or three images, to as many as a portfolio project of fifteen. Selected work will be exhibited throughout Mpls Photo Center’s more than 500 linear feet of galleries.
