Class Description

Summer is just around the corner! We hope you’ll spend it with us, learning basic digital photography and discovering your hidden photography skills to master them in no time - you don’t even need photographic experience!

The goal of this class is to assist you in taking control of your digital SLR camera so you can begin a lifetime of taking beautiful, memorable images of events, travel, friends and family, and yourself. You'll learn how to choose the best images to process and keep, using Photoshop including creative projects to complete your artistic vision. You will learn basic retouching techniques to do away with those temporary flaws and blemishes in portraits. Objectives include learning the basics of manual settings, framing shots in-camera utilizing compositional elements such as lines, perspective, angles and symmetry gaining an awareness of lighting effects; and other basic photo editing skills.
