Small Light, Big Results: Unleashing the Power of Your Portable Flash
Class Description
The small portable shoe-mount speedlights have become the only lighting tools for many photographers. Compactness, wireless capabilities, combined with numerous available after-market accessories (soft-boxes, grids, snoots, ring flash) can replicate lighting techniques that were once limited to big, expensive studio strobes requiring a large investment and an available power source.
These portable dedicated flashes go even a step beyond and offer something that is unattainable by the “big” strobes and that is wireless adjustment, high speed synch, and unique flash placement. This two-evening class will help you understand how to use portable flashes to their best potential and achieve desired lighting effects. A short lecture will be followed by a lighting demonstration and various areas to practice what you've learned.
The instructor and assistant will be available to help with any hands-on learning from the class.
