Thursday Entrepreneurs' Talks

The Mpls Photo Center is excited to announce a new series of entrepreneurial programs, including workshops, one-on-one consulting and the Thursday Entrepreneurs' Talks series, which complements the Tuesday Artists' Talks series.

Join Margaret Owen Thorpe from the University of St. Thomas' Small Business Development Center on Thursday, May 21 (7PM to 10PM), for a discussion entitled Understanding the Marketplace — Why People Buy (or Don't Buy) Art. On Thursday, June 4 (7PM to 10PM), David Little from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts will lead a discussion, Preparing for a Portfolio Review. On Thursday, June 25 (7PM to 10PM), Martin Berglin will present and discuss "Running a Commercial Photography Business: The Do's and Don'ts of a Successful Art Business."
