Beginning Digital Printmaking

Class Description

With so many ways to share our images digitally, it’s easy to let our images slip into “digital purgatory.” Meanwhile, affordable digital printers have improved by leaps and bounds in recent years.Harness the power of your printer and learn to make beautiful fine-art inkjet prints on our Epson 800 printer.

We provide an overview of what makes a good photographic print and, teaches you the fundamentals of color management and printing workflow. With class discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in The Mpls Photo Center’s state-of-the-art digital lab, we will guide you towards creating color and black & white photographic prints that display accurate tonality and color as part of an integrated color managed workflow.

This workshop is at Hopkins Center for the Arts.
