Class Description
Learn the basics to create a successful family/child photo session in this 1-day workshop designed to focus on finding your style, utilizing your personality to create a safe and fun enviroment for your client and expanding your creativity to unleash the artist in you. We will show you how to make a child or family comfortable in front of the camera n any situation. Learn how to turn the stress of a family shoot into a fun memory for the entire family (yes even Dad!) Overview of your settings to create a specific feel and look to turn your basic family session into an artist photo your client will cherish for a lifetime. We will be photographing live with 1-2 family’s and 2 child models for a hands-on experience of a real-life family/child photo shoot.Topics that will be discussed and demonstrated:
- You will walk away with a better grasp on your own personal style
- You learn what the necessary equipment and props are for a successful shoot
- You will learn basic techniques to better be in sync with your subject/client
- You will learn hands on about your manual camera settings and controlling the lighting during your session
- You will also learn about options for post production, options for albums, gallery wraps and other ways for clients to display your work
