Shepherds Harvest Festival Workshop

Class Description

The Shepherds Harvest Festival Photo Workshop begins May 11th, on location at the Minnesota Shepherds Harvest Festival, which is the largest sheep and wool festival in the state and one of the largest in the country.

This unique photo workshop is on location at the Minnesota Shepherds Harvest Festival, which is the largest sheep and wool festival in the state and one of the largest in the country.

Workshop participants will meet at the Mpls Photo Center and carpool to the festival located at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.

Workshop instructor, Curtis Juliber will have a brief introduction to composition and lighting techniques when you arrive at the festival. By applying some of these basic compositions and lighting techniques you’ll find how dramatically your images will improve. This is an opportunity to learn about choosing photo settings, styling, backgrounds, reacting to locations and managing light as you find it.

After the introduction the class will head out to photographsheep, llamas, sheep dogs, and festival demonstrations. Just taking photos of the event it self will make for interesting photos.
This class doesn’t cover camera basics, so you should know how to use your camera. Beginners are welcome, as long as they know how to use their cameras
