Class Cancellations & Refunds Policy
We understand that conflicts happen and we want to make sure students don't worry about what happens if they need to withdraw from a class. If you need to withdraw for any reason, you will be refunded as follows:
- More than two weeks before the class starts: 100% refund, less $20 administrative fee
- Less than two weeks before the class starts: 50% refund, less $20 administrative fee
- Withdrawals on the day of or after the class begins: no refund
- We will gladly transfer you to the next class if you so desire.
How to Withdraw
E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. If a refund is due and you paid with a credit card, the refund will be calculated and credited back to your card in 24-72 hours.
If a student withdraws from a full class, the first person on the wait list will be notified via e-mail or a phone call. The option to add yourself to the class wait list will be displayed on the class detail page if a class is full.
If you are unable to attend a class session, contact the instructor of the class. He or she will provide class materials, such as notes and files, via My Center. If the instructor deems necessary, and solely at the instructor's discretion, he or she will offer a make-up class or one-on-one session at an additional charge. We cannot give partial or pro-rated refunds for missed classes. Depending on the circumstances and availability of classes, we may be able to allow you to make up a missed day in a future offering of the class, if one is on the schedule and room is available.
We want students to have the opportunity to learn. In the event that a class does not have at least four paid registrations, we reserve the right to reschedule the class dates, up to three weeks from its start date to assure full attendance in accordance with our guidelines. All classes will take place, the start dates however may change.
If an instructor has an emergency and cannot make it to class, we will attempt to have another instructor teach the class. If that isn't possible, MPC staff will contact students via phone immediately and the instructor will work with the class attendees to find an agreeable time to reschedule, do one-on-one sessions, or extend the class a week, if necessary.
